She stared at him for a long time, her face turned cold, and she completely lost her patience.

"I think it's better if we remain friends. Let's pretend nothing happened before." She had given up all her patience and was too lazy to argue with him anymore. She decided to let bygones be bygones.

She placed the ginger soup on the table, glanced at it, and said, "I'll leave this ginger soup here. If you like to drink alcohol, I won't force you."

The room was a little stuffy, so she went outside. The cold wind blew in, instantly sweeping away all her gloom.

She rubbed the clothes off her arms and went to the next room.

Upon seeing Ji Tianci, she asked, "How did it go?"

"Hmm?" He looked up and waved the book in his hand. "It's alright."

She casually pulled over a chair and sat down next to him. "I'll teach you."

She didn't recognize the book placed in front of Ji Tianci, so she simply put it away and picked up another book instead.

"Calculate all the accounts on this list. If necessary, you can use other tools, but first learn mental arithmetic before using others."

Upon hearing her words, Ji Tianci's face immediately fell. The numbers on the screen were dizzying to look at. Ji Meiqing took it and casually replaced the numbers with Arabic numerals, with the corresponding traditional Chinese numerals below.

"Write these down, and the rest will be easy to identify."

"What is this?" He was somewhat curious about those crooked, snake-like things. Ji Meiqing glanced at him, too lazy to explain further.

Stuck in his room, Ji Tianci felt sleepy looking at the numbers, but Ji Meiqing was beside him. He didn't dare to move an inch.

"It's time to eat." Grandma Mei called them, and a figure flashed past outside.

Ji Meiqing stood up and said calmly, "Let's go eat."

"Oh." He closed the book and slowly followed.

Lu Yu saw that her expression was normal, but she was sitting next to Ji Tianci. Granny Mei brought over the food and placed it on the table.

After dinner, Ji Meiqing took a shower and went to bed as usual. The next day, she went to the restaurant as usual, staying there all day and not returning until evening, repeating this cycle day after day.

On the day of delivery, Ji Meiqing waited for Lu Yu, and the two went to the winery together.

It had been a while since I'd been here, and it felt a bit unfamiliar. There were too many wine vats; it would take a while to move them all. Ji Meiqing notified Jiang Ziyi to come and pick up the goods, and also brought some money.

A large group of people were waiting for him. Only after he arrived did Ji Meiqing get up to greet him. Lu Yu also went with him. The two were at the village entrance, and Ji Meiqing walked straight over to him as soon as she saw him.

"Hello." She smiled. "Our goods have all been completed on time. You can come with us to inspect them."

"Alright, let's check the goods first." He smiled readily, and the three of them went into the house together. The wine was stored in the wine cellar.

They took Jiang Ziyi to the wine cellar, which was cold and dark. Two lanterns were lit in front of it. She held a wine ladle in her hand. After tasting the wine, both sides made sure there were no problems before returning upstairs.

"The inventory you requested is already there. Due to the large amount and volume, we cannot transport it over."

"It's alright, we've already brought people over." He smiled and had the people behind him bring the box over. He opened the lid, and inside were stacks of silver notes.

Before giving it to Ji Meiqing, he placed it on the table, not as readily as before, but hesitant.

Seeing his expression, Ji Meiqing asked, "What's wrong? Is there something wrong, Young Master Jiang?"

"It's nothing." He pushed the box forward a little, and Ji Meiqing took it, checked it carefully, and then put it away.

Ji Meiqing pointed at Jiang Ziyi outside and said, "Go and keep an eye on him. Tell me immediately if anything happens."

He glanced at it twice, then followed.

After finishing their business, they knew it was time for them to leave. Ji Meiqing packed up and went back with him without saying a word the whole way.

After returning from outside, Granny Mei came over and asked, "How did it go?"

"Not bad." She smiled. "It's been a very profitable business."

"That's good." She rubbed her hands together, looking thoughtful.

Ji Meiqing looked at her expression and was taken aback. "What's wrong?"

Granny Mei gave her a troubled look and said, "Today, the second young master told me that he wants to go back to see his mother..."

"Then let's meet. I've finally got some free time these past few days, so I'll take him back to see him." She casually took off her outer garment and then went to Ji Tianci's room.

He was sitting in a chair reading a book when he saw Ji Meiqing coming over, but he only glanced at her.

"I heard you want to see your aunt? Go back and see her tomorrow," she said.

Ji Tianci immediately looked up at her excitedly.

"Alright, go back to your book. I'll get you a proper outfit tomorrow." She glanced at it, then went out again.

She didn't know what time it was; glancing at the sky, she felt it was already quite late. After dinner, she went to bed as usual. Just as she was about to rest, Lu Yu came and knocked on the door.

"Are you asleep?"

She was shaking the blanket when she heard Lu Yu's voice, so she put the blanket down.

"come in."

The door opened, and she was sitting on the bed. Seeing him enter, she asked, "Is there something you need?"
