Transformers: Leader's Proof - Fragile, but Hard to Kill

Chapter 46 What I Saw Was Not Real

Chapter 46 What I Saw Was Not Real

Optimus Prime contacted Megatron through the communication device on the Decepticon, and Megatron contacted the other Decepticons to bring Optimus Prime to him so he could deal with him personally.

Ah, a nemesis is a nemesis!

After eating some super energy to fill her stomach, Rosa immediately targeted the soldier who came to collect supplies, and with a quick pry, she broke off his arm and started gnawing on it.

While you're at it, pile up a few more boxes containing energy orbs around here, making sure no one notices what's inside for now. You can throw any leftover scraps in there later too.

Rosa thought she could directly use the solver to hack into the nearby cameras and make them repeat the footage without being detected for a short period of time.

Then, using the tip of the pliers, they opened the door. The two guards at the door assumed someone was coming out and didn't turn around to look. However, after two seconds, seeing no one, they turned around and looked inside with some confusion.

Then they saw a long metal 'tube' extending from the doorway, at the end of which was a white mechanical hand, just like Rosa's, gripping their foot, with black joints and a blue triangular band on the back of its hand.

The two guards' brain modules crashed for a moment, and they didn't react in time. Then, the two hands dragged the two guards inside.

It was only then that they realized what was happening, but it was too late. As the door to the storeroom closed, the two guards' screams abruptly ceased, leaving only two skeletal remains in the small circle surrounded by boxes.

The storage room door opened again, and the next second two cameras emerged from inside. The cameras projected images, creating the illusion that the door was still locked, and then projected the image of the two guards still standing there.

The camera itself was also covered by the projection. Then, the camera footage from the Narrative ship filming the storage room returned to normal, while Rosa continued to project, simulating the two guards running away as if they had received some kind of notification.

There was no one in the camera's view. Rosa continued to hack into the camera, repeating the scene of no one in sight, until she retracted the projected camera into the door and closed the door completely before the camera started working again.

From then on, the two guards at the gate successfully 'disappeared'. Look at the cameras inside the Retribution House, those two things ran away, didn't they?

So, their running away and dying in the energy storage room is a paranormal event, and it's none of my business~

Rosa felt perfectly justified in assassinating every TF who entered the energy storage room, then projecting a simulated image of them leaving normally. She even continued projecting through gaps in the maintenance pipes, randomly sending them to other, more distant locations before making them all disappear.

Look at the cameras in the Retribution ship. Those things are gone, right? Except for the one that was in the storage room at the beginning, the others all went outside and died before returning to the storage room, right?

So, their running away and dying in the energy storage room is a paranormal event, and it's none of my business~

Hopefully, the investigators' CPUs won't burn out because of this (praying).

At this moment, Optimus Prime has successfully eloped with Megatron after exiting the land bridge (just kidding, scratch that), and is having a 1v1 fight with Megatron.

The two machines were locked in a fierce battle, but Optimus Prime, fueled by his rage, had a slight edge over Megatron, using the wheels on his feet to rub against Megatron's face.

Although I don't know why, I have this strange feeling that Megatron was being rubbed and enjoyed (scratch that again).

But in the end, just as Optimus Prime was about to execute Megatron, the volcano behind him suddenly erupted, spewing out countless dark super-energy entities.

Megatron caught Optimus Prime's sword barehanded with perfect accuracy, successfully gaining the Unicron buff. Optimus Prime, due to the surrounding dark super-energy, gained the Anti-Alluvial debuff.

Optimus Prime was almost killed, but the Ratchet, which located Optimus Prime's position, opened the land bridge, and then the other Autobots came to the rescue.

Rosa was still waiting on the Decepticon Retribution for the next delivery to arrive.

Fly. Luo. Looking forward to what flavor the next blind box will taste like. Sha. Rubbing hands.

Back at base, after settling Optimus Prime in, both Optimus Prime and Bulkhead looked around and simultaneously asked each other the same question.

"Where's Rosa?" x2

Both machines looked puzzled and surprised upon hearing each other's words, then frowned.

"Isn't she with you?" x2

Everyone realized something was wrong, and the ambulance was the first to speak, "What exactly happened?" The ambulance looked at the two TFs with surprise and anxiety.

Raffi was in trouble, but they were just saved by using a super-energy body to neutralize the dark super-energy body. They can't let anyone else get hurt.

The partition frowned and shrugged. "When I was about to leave via the land bridge, I saw Rosa walk up to Optimus Prime and give me this." The partition said, giving a thumbs-up, and looked at the thumbs-up as if trying to figure out what it meant.

"I thought she meant she wanted to stay and wish me good luck." After saying this, the partition lowered its arm and looked at Optimus Prime. Optimus Prime looked at the partition with some shock, even raising its voice slightly.

“What I saw was her walking onto the land bridge with you. Rosa even waved goodbye to me before she left.” After Optimus Prime finished speaking, Block’s eyes looked even more strange. Block was certain that he couldn’t possibly be mistaken, and neither was Optimus Prime.

“A paranormal event…” Meiqi shrank her neck. This… is so strange. How could it be that the two people’s perspectives are completely different?

"This is unbelievable. If she's neither on the Retribution ship nor back at base, where could she be?" Ambulance pondered, rubbing its head.

His CPU was about to burn out. He believed the leader and the partition; they wouldn't joke about something like this. He was also certain that the Thousand Faces was dead, so it was impossible for someone to impersonate one of them and bring back false information.

Is this... a paranormal event? Or did she accidentally teleport to the shadowy area?

“Um, I think I might know something…” Jack hesitated before raising his hand to speak.

“Have you considered this, Rosa? Of course! This might include me, who's been keeping it from you too.” “Jack! What exactly is going on?” Arcee interrupted Jack’s hesitant words.

“Okay…okay…” Jack took a deep breath. “The time Black Widow attacked us and Rosa was there too, Rosa actually saved me, but the way she saved me was…”

“She extended something like a camera from behind her, which would light up and project my image and voice to make Black Widow think that was me.”

"Wait?" The ambulance driver raised his hand to interrupt Jack. "You mean she can project images and mimic voices?" He looked at Jack incredulously, having every reason to believe Jack was talking nonsense.

"And what about behind her... Oh wait, that's certainly possible." The partition originally wanted to ask how there could possibly be a camera behind her, but then it thought about those extremely compressed wings and tail, and it seemed like there might be something else.

“It’s true!” Jack continued. “I think it could even project and cover up her own traces, and it could also use projection to change her appearance. At least I didn’t see anything on the tree at the time.” Jack added...

"She lay on a tree, completely hidden, then lured Black Widow there before attacking her. She even transformed into Black Widow's likeness." Jack recalled as he spoke, a chill running down his spine at the thought of the countless tentacled scythes.

"Wow~ Is this true?! The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind!" Meiqi looked at Jack, who was touching the back of his neck, in surprise. "Why didn't you tell us?" Meiqi had a look of disappointment on her face.

She was shocked that her good friend Jack hadn't told them about this exciting story, not even in secret.

"She told me to keep it a secret..." Jack touched his neck, gave an embarrassed smile, and his eyes unconsciously glanced at the ground.

"I'll deal with you later. Right now, the most important thing is to find Rosa," Arcee said angrily.

"First of all, what the partition and Optimus Prime are seeing right now is unreliable. The only thing we can be sure of is that Rosa is definitely not at the base right now, because she has no reason to hide." Ratchet rubbed his forehead; he felt a bit of a headache coming on. He was always worrying about this and that.

“Then she can only…” Arcee looked at the others.

"At the Decepticons' place..." the partition continued, "She's still on the Narrative."

"But what can she do?" Meiqi asked, puzzled.
