I didn't answer, instead subconsciously tightening my grip on the weapon. The green seedling remained dormant, and the transparent vine quietly slid to my feet. It felt cool to the touch, yet it held a familiar comfort.
They sensed something.
"The team retreats." I ordered in a deep voice, "Advance step by step, don't act rashly."
