Transformers: Leader's Proof - Fragile, but Hard to Kill

Chapter 225 Survivors

Chapter 225 Survivors

The ambulance and the prison guards had been in a standoff for an unknown period of time, but the guards insisted they didn't know.

Seeing that the questioning was fruitless, Optimus Prime could only have everyone split up to investigate, hoping to find some clues or some lurking Decepticons.

Originally, everyone planned to find a partner for Hengpao to scout together, so that he could feel more secure. However, Hengpao chose to refuse and scout alone, just like the other members.

Unfortunately, most of them got nothing... except for sidesteps.

As he passed by a room, for some reason, as if sensing something, he suddenly had the idea to look under the charging bed.

Unexpectedly, he saw a small round ball. If he hadn't captured similar Miniatures before, he would have thought it was just an ordinary ball, not a Miniature that could transform into a ball.

Hengpao stared at the small ball, reached out and touched it, because he noticed that the ball seemed to be trembling.

Hengpao raised his head, looked around, then walked to the door, looked out into the corridor, turned back into the room, and closed the door.

"Hey, buddy, you're safe now," Sideswipe said softly, watching the little ball slowly open its shell and peer through its fearful and uneasy red optics at the fiery red Autobot outside.

Autobots! They're cars!

He hesitated and slowly moved out. Although the Decepticons and Autobots were indeed at odds, at least the Autobots were considered righteous.

So at least, can we trust it?

The Decepticon spherical miniature robot slowly crawled out from under the charging bed, then looked around uneasily.

Just like when he hid inside, but the energy that had spread into the room has been cleared away and there is no trace of it now.

He knew very well that it was the original prison guards who had done the purge, and he didn't dare to ask for help when he saw them.

The prison guards were even helping to clean up the traces; who knows if they weren't in cahoots with that group of monsters outside?

Before the incident, he offended another large Decepticon by being rude, and was chased into the room, where he hid under a charging bed.

The Decepticon didn't find the Minibot's hiding place, but when he reached the doorway, a scythe hanging from the ceiling took away his "qualification to go to Canada".

The miniature giant, hiding under the charging bed, saw everything: countless traces of blue energy splattering, countless terrified screams echoing down the corridor, and the sound that abruptly stopped with a "click".

He saw a shadow on the ground, something connected to something by a metal skeleton, extending outwards. He looked around the room, even opening the cabinets, but found nothing.

But then the shadow rushed towards the charging bed. The Decepticon Minibots quickly hid behind the clutter under the bed, watching as the "monster" retreated after a flash of blue light...

Thinking of the horrific scene of the "massacre," Mini Kong trembled uncontrollably once again, and Sideswipe immediately realized that he must have seen everything.

But at the same time, he began to struggle. Knowing Rosa's personality, anyone who only saw the whole picture would definitely be eliminated, but...

Seeing the Mini Kong trembling with fear, clinging desperately to itself, Hengpao felt a pang of pity.

Should he hand this Decepticon over to the hibernation pod? Contact Bumblebee? But...

Sideswipe thought of the scene where the ambulance confronted the other Miniature King Kong guards. If they knew that this Decepticon had seen everything, would they interrogate him as well?

If the results lead to suspicion about Rosa, what will happen? Will Rosa blame herself for the exposure, since she was the one who handed it over?

Then...? Contact Rosa?

Sideswipe recalled how Rosa ate her own Decepticon brethren, and his fuel tank started to feel uncomfortable.

However, he didn't have that overwhelming urge, but he still felt uncomfortable. His mental capacity to accept things was definitely much stronger than before.

Moreover, if given to Rosa, this Miniature Titan would definitely "vanish into thin air" like the other Decepticons, disappearing from the world forever into her fuel tank.

Decepticon seemed to see the compassion and hesitation in Sideswipe's eyes, realizing that the man in front of him might be able to save him, and he clung to his feet, begging until he was almost crying.

Sideswipe can't hand this Decepticon over to Bumblebee or Optimus Prime, or he might lose his life.

They also couldn't tell Rosa that there was one Decepticon who had been missed, otherwise Rosa's Core condition would be extremely worrying, and the ambulance, being the Core's doctor, might even notice something amiss.

He was torn. He wanted the Decepticons in front of him to live. He was terrified just seeing Rosa's food machine, let alone the Decepticons going into her mouth.

So Sideswipe began to think, and he finally came up with only one idea: to find a way to let him escape without the other machines noticing.

But how should we let it escape?

Sideswipe looked at the miniature giant on the ground with great concern and tried to think of a solution. Finally, he learned from the miniature giant that in addition to the two normal exits, there was a place that looked like a ventilation shaft or maintenance pipe that he could go through.

This would be the only way to escape, but what's even stranger is that they suddenly discovered that many of the pipes showed signs of being damaged.

The Decepticons were shocked, while Sideswipe was reminded of the appearance of the Absolute Solver. Could it be that it was filled with extended bodies used for killing?

But then I thought, maybe the most dangerous place is the safest place?

Sideswipe hesitated for a moment, then secretly found some tools, unscrewed the window of the maintenance passage, and stuffed the Decepticon inside.

"Thank...thank you!" The expression on the Decepticon Mini-Gorilla's mask was one of immense gratitude, almost bringing him to tears.

Before leaving, he was threatened by Sideswipe. After all, he is a Decepticon and may do evil to some extent. So he was told that if he did too much evil, that monster would come after him one day.

This kind of "benign intimidation" was very effective. Sure enough, he immediately nodded in agreement and thanked Hengpao for the reminder.

As for whether it will truly never do evil again, that depends on the Decepticon's own fate. If it stops doing evil and hides, it might just avoid being hunted by Rosa.

But if he does evil, the Black-Faced God will definitely notice something amiss and lock him up again, or he might just be eaten by Rosa in the process, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

Sideswipe watched as he tried to leave through the ventilation duct quietly, and for some reason, he had the same expression as Optimus Prime.

He closed the ventilation duct window again, his compassionate gaze lingering on the spot where the Decepticon had vanished...
