The End Times as a Song

Chapter 540 Flattered

Chapter 540 Flattered

A single sentence, "The gods don't understand," extinguished the burning passion in the heart of the dying world.

He understood perfectly well; he had once been a member of the human race.

He hadn't been this happy in a long time since he returned to the Protoss.

Huan Rugo's words made the insurmountable gap between her and the gods crystal clear.

This made Lin Moshi truly realize that there is a distance between the gods and the humans.

Lin Moshi began to worry again about how to shorten the distance between him and Huan Ruge.

"The God of the Apocalypse! The God of the Apocalypse!"

Seeing that Lin Moshi was in a daze, Huan Ruge thought he was not feeling well, so she gently woke him up.

"what happened?"

Lin Moshi didn't react for a moment, and asked Huan Ruge in a daze.

"Doomsday God, you don't look well. Are you feeling unwell?"

Huan Ruge said to Lin Moshi.

"I'm not feeling unwell, I'm fine!"

"You're alright? Then why didn't you respond when I called you earlier?"

"Let's not talk about that. Didn't we agree that you would call me A-Shi? Why are you still calling me God?"

Lin Moshi was a little bothered by Huan Ruge's distant way of addressing him, especially since Huan Ruge had promised Lin Moshi that she wouldn't use the title "Divine Lord" when no one was around.

Huan Rugo looked embarrassed: "This...! I'm sorry, I'm not used to it yet."

"The food is served!" The waiter interrupted their awkward situation by bringing out the dishes.

"Sir, these are all our restaurant's signature dishes! They're all served now, please enjoy them. If you're still hungry, just ask for a smaller one."

"You can go now!" Lin Moshi dismissed the waiter.

"Alright, sir! Remember to call me if you need anything!" The waiter said a few polite words before leaving.

"It's okay, you're not used to it yet, we'll get used to it slowly! Aren't you hungry? Hurry up and eat!"

Lin Moshi comforted Huan Ruge with a few words and began to serve her food.

"Alright! Then I won't be polite." Huan Rugo wolfed down her food.

Lin Moshi smiled with relief: "Don't rush, eat slowly! Don't choke!"

"Brother! Why didn't you bring A-Yu to dinner?" Wu Zheyu barged in, playfully scolding Lin Moshi.

The appearance of Wu Zheyu interrupted Huan Ruge's meal.

Huan Rugo smiled awkwardly at Wu Zheyu, put down her chopsticks, and muttered to herself, "I haven't finished eating yet, and this big trouble has already come. It seems I won't be able to eat any more. What bad luck."

"Waiter, bring another set of bowls and chopsticks!" Lin Moshi instructed the waiter.

"Yes, sir." The waiter responded enthusiastically.

"Since you're here, sit down and eat with us!" Lin Moshi said coldly to Wu Zheyu.

He didn't want anyone to disturb him and Huan Rugo, so he specially went to pick Huan Rugo up for dinner in advance so that he could be alone with her. Unexpectedly, he still ran into Wu Zheyu.

He knew in his heart that Wu Zheyu couldn't be driven away now, so he could only silently accept Wu Zheyu's unreasonable behavior and try his best to go along with Wu Zheyu's wishes.

Perhaps Lin Moshi had long been used to Wu Zheyu's pampered upbringing. Although he disapproved of it, he couldn't do anything about it.

He remained calm and didn't even glance at Wu Zheyu, instead serving food to Huan Ruge.

Huan Rugo still dared not move, and could only smile politely at everyone she met.

"Hmph!" Wu Zheyu snorted coldly at Huan Rugo and sat down next to Lin Moshi. She avoided Huan Rugo with disdain, staring at her with wide eyes, thinking, "You brat, don't even think about taking my brother away from me."
