The End Times as a Song

Chapter 20 Please help me!

Chapter 20 Please help me!

"Ouch... Huanhuan, be gentle, it hurts..."

Tu Shan Yan seemed to beg for mercy in frustration, but his behavior was actually quite cooperative as he followed Huan Ru Ge's wild ways.

"So annoying... I told you to hurry up and leave, but you're still dawdling there..."

Huan Rugo shook her head helplessly, released Tu Shanyan's ear, and continued walking forward.

"Huanhuan... what did you say... I didn't hear you..."

Tu Shanyan rubbed his little ears and asked Huan Ruge.

"He didn't say anything, just hurry up and go, it's getting dark..."

Huan Rugo paid little attention to Tu Shanyan, muttering to herself as she walked forward.

"Wait for me……"

Tu Shanyan hurriedly followed.

At the foot of Chifeng Mountain, the forests rise and fall in layers. Wisps of smoke rise, the last rays of the setting sun cast their glow, and darkness falls. From the hidden forest thickets, rustling sounds emanate, and from time to time, the howls of wolves can be heard, creating a very dark and eerie atmosphere.

"So annoying... I wonder which she-wolf is in heat again... It's so noisy..."

Tu Shanyan suddenly lay down, casually picked up a foxtail grass from the ground, and started playing with it listlessly. Tu Shanyan was clearly a little restless; his animalistic desires stirred up a tremor within him.

"Huanhuan, you've been traveling for ages, why don't you take a break..."

Tu Shanyan glanced thoughtfully at Huan Ruge, and blurted out unconsciously.

"Ah Yan, how do you know it's the she-wolf in heat..."

Huan Rugo was stunned when she heard this. She turned around and walked towards where Tu Shanyan was lying, squatted down, approached Tu Shanyan face to face, and asked in confusion.

“I am a fox, of course I…know.”

Tu Shanyan paused, his face flushed, and he replied to Huan Ruge incoherently.

Are you in heat too?

Huan Rugo snatched the foxtail grass from Tu Shanyan's hand, stroked Tu Shanyan's high nose, and asked a teasing question.

"No...no..."

Tu Shanyan's face flushed red instantly. He tried his best to suppress his inexplicable agitation, awkwardly turned his face away, and pretended that nothing had happened.

"Ah Yan, why is your face so red? Are you sick...?"

Huan Rugo noticed that Tu Shanyan's face was a little flushed and was genuinely worried. She carefully examined Tu Shanyan, touched his forehead, and began to check on him with concern.

As soon as Huan Rugo stepped into the deep forest, she felt something was wrong. The howling of wolves never stopped; they heard it everywhere they went. Huan Rugo felt uneasy but couldn't pinpoint the cause. Her biggest worry was that something might suddenly happen to Tu Shanyan, which would be a huge problem. So, she first needed to check if Tu Shanyan had been poisoned or was ill.

"Huanhuan, I...I'm not sick...I'm fine."

Tu Shanyan unconsciously turned his head, just in time to meet Huan Ruge's close face. Their lips almost met, creating an awkward and ambiguous atmosphere. Tu Shanyan gazed at Huan Ruge with deep affection, his eyes filled with her. Huan Ruge, feeling a little strange, pondered Tu Shanyan's actions. Tu Shanyan smiled slightly, and just as he was about to kiss her and show her what it meant to be in heat, Huan Ruge inappropriately stood up.

"It's good that you're alright... but I feel like the atmosphere around me is a bit strange."

Huan Rugo turned around and observed her surroundings.

"Huanhuan, you're overthinking it... It's just the sound of a she-wolf in heat..."

"Ah Yan, why don't you try making that sound? I'll see if it's the sound of a wolf in heat..."

"Huanhuan... going into heat is an animal's instinct. I'm a demon, I can't call out that..."

"So you don't get horny..."

Huan Rugo paced back and forth, seemingly understanding but not quite, as she analyzed the strange wolf howls around her.

"Who says I can't go into heat? Don't you... know that already...?"

Tu Shanyan stood up excitedly.

"No, something's not right..."

Huan Rugo watched the changes around her warily.

Before they could finish speaking, a pack of wolves suddenly rushed out of the jungle ahead, surrounding Huan Rugo and Tu Shanyan. Their eyes were extremely fierce, as if they had been starving for days, or as if they had been controlled by evil spirits and had lost their animalistic instincts.

Tu Shan Yan and Huan Ru Ge were caught in a wolf trap, in a very dangerous situation. They retreated cautiously, shoulder to shoulder. Strangely, the wolves did not attack immediately, as if waiting for some command, perhaps also wary of the weapon in Tu Shan Yan's hand.

"Huanhuan, danger... move back behind me."

Tu Shanyan immediately summoned his weapon and shielded Huan Ruge behind him.

“Ah Yan…”

"Don't be afraid... I'm here. With me here, no one can hurt you."

“Ah Yan, I’m not afraid… I have a feeling that the wolf howl just now was wrong, and the wolf pack seemed to have been starving for several days, but they didn’t attack us immediately. There must be someone behind this wolf pack.”

"You mean there's someone pulling the strings behind all this..."

"Um……"
