Quick Transmigration: Even Extras Want to Be Leading Actresses

Chapter 284 Semifinals ( )

Chapter 284 Semifinals ( )

Mickey's height of over two meters brought an unusually terrifying sense of oppression. It lowered its head and bent over, extending a palm towards Gu Shijiu.

"It takes 5 play points to experience the game."

Gu Shijiu calculated that she only had 10 play points left.

“My house is the first place in the fairy tale world. Let me take you there,” Mickey said in a low voice, walking ahead.

Gu Shijiu followed behind, walking through the woods.

Huge, transparent glass jars hung from the branches, trapping fireflies inside and emitting a blue light.

The ground was uneven and full of potholes. With every step, you could feel a sticky liquid seeping out from the soles of your shoes, making a hissing sound that sent chills down your spine.

Occasionally, strangely shaped mushrooms would appear on both sides, with white smoke constantly rising from their surfaces;

Some things resembling dried human skin hung from the branches, swaying gently in the breeze and making a rustling sound.

After finally emerging from the woods, a desolate meadow came into view.

It was supposed to be a meadow, but there wasn't a single patch of green to be seen.

The land was cracked, with fissures resembling the earth's gaping maw.

Broken dolls and twisted toy cars were scattered all over the grass.

The dolls had empty, lifeless eyes, and some were even missing arms or legs, scattered on the ground.

There's a mushroom-shaped house on the grass, painted with Mickey and Minnie; this must be our destination.

However, the bright colors of the original exterior walls of the house seem to have been covered with a gray filter, as if they have faded.

Mickey, walking ahead, seemed happy about going home. He grinned and hummed a little tune, then smiled at Gu Shijiu, revealing his deep red gums.

"Hurry up and come out to greet them, we have new guests!"

The door to the Mushroom House creaked open slowly, and a creature about the same height as Mickey Mouse peeked out from the doorway—it was Mickey's girlfriend, Minnie.

Unlike the usual sweet appearance, its semi-circular dark black ears drooped down, covered with mottled marks, as if they had been bitten by something.

Her makeup was a complete mess, her large red nose looked particularly out of place, and the blush on her cheeks resembled dried bloodstains.

Her polka-dot dress was tattered, with an unknown black liquid dripping from the hem, leaving a dark footprint on the ground with every step she took.

"Welcome, guest."

Minnie's voice was sharp and distorted, like the sound of an old record cassette tape.

It tilted its head slightly, staring intently at Gu Shijiu, a stiff smile playing on its lips, revealing a set of uneven teeth.

Mickey chuckled from the side, "Quickly take the guests inside for a good tour."

Minnie nodded slightly and turned to signal Gu Shijiu to follow.

The mushroom house was filled with a nauseatingly sweet smell mixed with a putrid stench, making one want to vomit.

The walls were covered with photos strung together with black thread, each showing a different, eerie version of Minnie.

Some had their eyes gouged out, leaving only two dark eye sockets; others had their faces covered in knife wounds, dripping with blood.

“Do you like it here? I arranged it all with great care.” Minnie said, gently stroking the photo with her withered fingers.

Suddenly, as if it remembered something, it rummaged through a pile of old dolls in the corner and found a dusty box.

"Look, this is a gift I prepared for you." Minnie opened the box, inside was a crystal ball that emitted a faint glow.

What should have been a beautiful fairytale scene inside the crystal ball is now displaying terrifying images.

Some were trapped in the dark abyss, struggling in agony; others were being chased by enormous monsters, fleeing in all directions.

Gu Shijiu didn't take it, but took a few steps back.

"What, you don't like it?" Minnie's eyes instantly turned fierce.

It slammed the crystal ball to the ground, and the crystal ball shattered with a "bang," sending fragments flying everywhere.

Oh, is her mood really that unstable...?

Gu Shijiu dodged the flying shards, somewhat speechless.

However, Minnie's bad temper came and went quickly; she took a baking tray from the kitchen.

The baking tray was covered with a cloth, so you couldn't see what was inside.

Minnie's tone instantly brightened: "Guest, come and try my homemade cakes! Only one is safe."

Choose the wrong one, and your hair will fall out immediately, or your ears will grow as long as a donkey's! Hahahaha.

After saying that, Minnie burst into laughter, her shrill laughter echoing through the room and sending chills down everyone's spine.

Gu Shijiu stared blankly at its performance.

"Listen carefully, this is your only chance." Minnie had more to say, as expected.

It squinted and said fiercely, "The round cake isn't next to the square cake; the triangular cake isn't at either end."

Heart-shaped cakes and star-shaped cakes are placed next to each other; square cakes and round cakes are separated by one; the normal cake shape is the most asymmetrical.

Choose quickly! I hope you enjoy it.

Given Gu Shijiu's level of education, she could only tell that this was a logic puzzle.

And then...then nothing happened.

Mickey chimed in, "If you can't choose, you can spend 5 play points to buy the correct cake!"

"What if we don't eat?" Gu Shijiu didn't feel hungry either.

"There's no road beyond that, so we have to stop here." Mickey licked his lips for some reason.

Ten minutes later, Gu Shijiu was munching on a delicious little cake, her mouth covered in cream.

Mickey and Minnie were lying on the ground groaning, and if you looked closely, their mouths seemed to be stretched even wider.

"It tastes pretty good." Gu Shijiu licked her fingers. "Is there anything else edible?"

"No...that's all," Minnie murmured, her head bowed.

"Strange, even dolls feel pain." Gu Shijiu clenched her fist. "Can I move forward now?"

She just wanted to give it a try, since it looked like it was made of cotton, and she was worried that the other person wouldn't be afraid of being beaten up.

Surprisingly, these two Mickey Mouse characters reacted just like humans after being beaten.

Minnie shrank back, and Mickey stammered, "I...I need your help with something else."

"No problem." Gu Shijiu considered herself an easy person to talk to. "What kind of help?"

"When I was making you the cupcakes just now, Minnie's ribbon fell out the window and was blown away by the wind. Could you help me find it?"

Mickey pointed out the kitchen window.

Gu Shijiu glanced out the window; there was a cliff outside. How was she supposed to find it?

However, she now knows that this is a task issued by an NPC, so she doesn't need to worry about whether it's reasonable or not.

"I'll give it a try. If I can't find it, it's not my problem." Gu Shijiu accepted the task, but then seemed to say she didn't.

Mickey and Minnie exchanged a glance, not bothering with the details, and stood up with difficulty to bow: "Well then, have a pleasant journey ahead!"
