Under the roar of the dragon, Black Kyurem's maw gathered freezing energy mixed with electricity. A beam of absolute zero shot out, crackling with voltage.

Sam, riding atop the Mega Rayquaza, didn't flinch.

"Rayquaza! Dragon Pulse!"

"ROOOAAAR!!!"

A melodious, high-pitched dragon chant filled the sky.

The Dragon-type energy boiled over, forming a massive, ethereal dragon head that surged forward to meet the attack.

But Sam didn't have that plan.

Rayquaza is the Lord of the Sky. It represents the supreme authority of the heavens. To dodge would be to show fear.

To dodge would be contempt for its own status.

Mega Rayquaza flew out of the dust cloud, hovering high above.

It looked down condescendingly at the Rival, crushed into the pit.

Its huge golden eyes were full of arrogance.

It seemed to be announcing to the world: The Strongest Dragon can only be me!
